Bio/Contact

A graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, BJ has written and taught poetry and literature for more than 15 years. In that time, he has created youth programs in Italy, led writing workshops in Sitka, Alaska, taught fiction and poetry writing for the Putney School Summer Programs in Vermont, and directed a group of young writers around Ireland. His writing has been published in many journals, magazines, newspapers, and anthologies including; Gulf Coast, The North American Review, Stirring: A Literary Collection, The Moon City Review, Hobart, and Pinwheel. BJ has also been featured Houston Public Radio’s “Voices and Verses.”

About BJ

BJ Love lives in Philadelphia and teaches English and creative writing. A graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop, BJ has been published in Gulf Coast, The North American Review, Stirring: A Literary Collection, The Moon City Review, Hobart, and elsewhere. While in Texas, he was a regular Inprint Poetry Busker, gifting poems to 1000’s of people all across Houston. In addition, he's been teaching creative writing and leading workshops all over the world; from mountain tops in Alaska to sea shores in Ireland, standing in the middle of a pond in Vermont or atop a marble quarry in Italy, and even once during an earthquake in Los Angeles.
